My name is Phil and I’ve been running websites since 1995. Way back then I started a dating site and at it’s peak I was making $10,000 a month. It was a boom time in the early days as very few people were into the idea of making money online and I was one of the first to get onboard in the dating niche. I’m still in it but I don’t make anywhere near as much now as I did back then. The problem is every Tom, Dick and Harry has a dating site and the market is saturated. And there are some big sites like Plenty of Fish who offer completely free dating which makes it harder to sell a paid dating site.
If any of you reading this are considering the dating area as a niche to making money online I’d advise you to stear well clear unless you really know what you are doing. Yes you can make money with dating site but it’s gonna be some time before you do or should I say, if you do!
I have had hundreds of sites over the years and have jumped on the lastest in thing that I saw promoted. I have done all of the following with vary levels of success:

- Google Adsense
- Directory Sites
- Niche Sites (Xfactor style)
- Amazon Sites
- Website Flipping
- CPA
- Adult
I’ve bought many money making products, lots of ebooks and lots of tools to help. Some good, some bad. Anyway I’ve had 15 years online making money. I left my day job back in 2001 and have worked from home since then. I’m married with two kids. Trust me, it’s tough trying to make money online and it’s really hard work. Anyone tells you otherwise is usually trying to sell you something.
I also have a brick and mortar business offline because you can never tell once day to the next whether you’re going to make enough money online to pay the bills and the offline business is a bit of peace of mind.
I know a lot about Internet Marketing. I’m not a guru and I’m still learning every day. I’m not going to throw up screen shots of my earnings or anything fancy like that. I’m going to try and offer my insights and experience about making money online. I’ve got nothing to sell you. So nothing to prove. If it helps you great, if not oh well I need to try harder!
