Sales Copy Tactics

Sellers of money making products use sales copy tatics that make me want to puke. The are truly cringe worthy but incredible as it is they actually work. They all follow along the lines of asking people if they want to make big money. ‘Hell yeah’, don’t we all? And then ‘What if I could tell you you can make big money with just a couple of clicks of your mouse’, yesssss you got me, where’s the buy now button.

Of course they go on to tell you that you’re probably struggling to make money online. You’ve bought other software that never worked despite the promises (and like theirs is gonna be any different!), they dwell on the fact that we are in hard times, that it’s difficult to make any money online, they complain about other guru’s but in the end they always come to the fact that everything is going to change with their product. Yeah right!

I find their sales copy tactics never really explain in full what their software product is going to do. It always seems to be something that is going to be more or less fully automated, requires very little work and very little technical knowledge. They are usually just set and go and watch the money roll in. Of course a good example of sales copy tctics wouldn’t be complete without screenshots of bank statements showing huge incomes generated by using this software. Pictures of nice house and cars have been known to adorn the majority of sales copy.

More Sales Copy Tactics

Have you noticed another good sales copy tactic is to use low earning potential? Usually that would put most people off but they always refer to things as a ‘number game’. They go on to say is so easy just to make a couple of dollars a day. And with their money making product it is so easy to make $5 a day. Now they go on to tell you that with this in mind if you just scale it up to 10 sites running their money making software your hitting $50 a day and c’mon it’s so easy, just a couple of point and clicks and you’re on the way to riches. Now imagine having 100 sites, or 500 sites – ‘you do the math buddy’….. oh i’m doing it and I’m gonna be making $1000 a day at this rate. Oh thank you, thank you, thank you…. where is that damn buy now button!

At this point you might just be in two minds. Incredible as it seems. This guy has been sympathetic to your problems about making money online, he shows how caring his because he understands your plight, times are tough. He’s been good enoguh to explain to you that you’re being ripped off by other junk products and you’re not making money with them (which is true, isn’t it). He’s show you bank statements with loads of money in it, he’s explained that his software is a game changer, it’s simple to use, there’s lots of squiggly circles written in red around all the positive things their software does, you’ve seen pictures of cars he’s got, his house, his boat, his photo on vacation (urghhh gagging time) and still your in 2 minds still?

NOW COMES THE KILLER SALES COPY TACTIC!!!

It’s limited to just a few buyers. It’s gonna get pulled any day soon, they just can’t have this on the market for too long, they don’t want it getting saturated. Or they are going to have to hike the price any day now. Get in now, sorry they use the term ‘lock yourself in’ at this promotional price or miss out.

To insult you further the sales copy tactics moves to an offensive stance. ‘Hey buddy, if you want to stay with the failures, click away now, if you want to be like 95% of online marketers who don’t make money, fine walk away’. ‘You wanna be a loser all your life don’t buy my life changeing product’. Oh man, now I’m a loser if I don’t buy this product, and it’s so cheap, and it’s so easy to use and I’ll be making money from day. Ok you got me…..

Oh, just one last thing, honest! Here’s a list of keywords used to get you hooked. They all use them, you’ve seen them. Don’t buy any software that has the following words in it’s sales copy! We’ll call them red flags and I’ll place a  next to any product that uses these phrases. If you can think of any more let me know.
